The highest bidder is the winner. If two or more bidders place the same high bid amount, the bidder that placed their bid first is the winner.

Bids on auctions are binding. However, if you bid in error, or if the auction details have changed significantly, or if you are unable to contact the auctioneer, you can retract your bid. An explanation for retracting your bid is required, and will be sent to the auctioneer. Bid retractions are reflected in your user rating as one negative rating.
Bids may be removed from an auction by the auctioneer. The auctioneer is required to provide an explanation to the affected bidders.
The auctioneer may make changes to all aspects of the auction if there are no bids. Once a bid has been placed, the auctioneer must describe any changes in the 'Updates' section of the auction page (below the 'Description' section).
The auctioneer may cancel the auction. All bidders will receive an email notifying them of the cancellation, which will include an explanation from the auctioneer. Auction cancellations are reflected is the auctioneer's rating as one negative rating.
